You probably got the worst tires possible for stretching.
For a square setup, those KDW2's would be perfect.
But for yours, good luck getting them on with their stiff sidewall.

i've seen quite a few pics of the kdw2's stretched and they look great IMHO, they are a lot wider than a standard tire in the same size so there not as ricer stretched as other brands like toyo or falkens...

here's a pic of 225/40's stretched on 9.5's and they look great, mine won't be much worse since its a 45 sidewall..

What would you classify the T1-R's as? a high performance tire? it's an overpriced mediocore tire, only reason it's used extensively is because of the sizes that are available.

225/45 kdw's stretch perfectly fine on a 10" !!!!
