    ix weaves or rota slipstream?

I have a chance to get ix weaves or rota slipstream (black with polished lip).
What do you think looks better?
I saw some pics of the rims but never in person. These would go on a 87 carbio. Its just a weekend car, no track events.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

I got Slipstreams but now I want Euroweaves. What suspension are you running? Slips need to be on a slammed car to look good.

Stock suspension. I would eventually like to lower it but not to much. Wont be able to lower it for awhile.

Are you getting the 16x8? If you only lower the car an inch to an inch and a half or so you will probably have a 3 inch wheel gap, I threw my wheels on before lowering it just to see and it was huge, and the car had almost 12 inches of ground clearence. Weaves will look best with the slight drop plus will ride better unless you get the 15 inch Slips.

Stockish ride height requires stockish rims (weaves). I've never liked aftermarket rims on a stock suspension.

Are you talking about the ones if the fs forum? Yes. I really like them. I would love to get euros instead of ix weaves but I don't have the $ for euros right now. Euros would be over $700 shipped. I am looking at ix weaves for $200 and spacers and bolts would run about $170. I need to be under $400 right now.
I know I should probably wait but I still need to do suspension and a bunch of other stuff.

I love slipstreams, but on an unlowered car I prefer a stock looking wheel.

Thanks for all the advice. I went with the ix weaves. Now I have to get spacers and caps for them.
