    17" style 42s on a 5 lug E30?

i recently came into a nice set of style 42s...

correct size and offset for my car. (E30 M3 5lug swap)

any pics out there of these wheels on an E30?

thinking polished lip, dark grey/silver centers... the car is b-rot.

    as it sits now:

GC coilovers, staggered DS2s with polished lip, painted centers... 12mm spacer in rear.

yeah, these haven't really been used much on E30s yet. I love them though. I think they look perfect on the E39 and also on the E30. or any car, really.

Was tire size ever determined? I've got an E30 M3 hub-equiped 325 with Konis and IE springs and a pristine set of Style 42s, but am nervous about choosing the wrong size tire and experiencing problems with rubbing. I'm figuring 225/17/40s. Any thoughts??

Am I too wide? Too Tall? Will I bottom-out? Will I rub at full lock? Any thoughts or suggestions are recommended.

I have a set of 18x9 style 42's on my e39 and was considering swapping them to the e30 to see what bimmer donk would look like. Lol

Love both of those wheel choices. Going with DS2's on mine until I find some used of the ones I really want
