    Wheel Spacers: Hubcentric VS Flat

Okay, I feel hubcentric is better, because it truely aligns the rim to the hub, but whats the truth behind the matter? My friend(he drives an irocz28) doesnt think its worth the extra money to spend on hubcentric. Give me a good reason as to why hubcentric>flat spacers

    TIA

        Ok, he figured it out:
irocz2804: why the hub centric ones work better is because your rims don't fit on there perfect because the lug holes are just a little bit bigger to make it easier to put the rim on the car causing it to be slightly mis aligne...the hub centric spacers fit on there perfectly so when you put your wheel on you fit it over the lugs and then when you slide it on all the way the hub is centered on the lip of the spacer...wich would fix the problem that you would have of just putting the rim on...so basicly what it is doing is centering the wheel from the hub...aka..."Hub Centric"

I dont think I could explain better myself lol.

I don't think feelings have anything to do with it. our cars require hubcentric spacers/wheels, end of story..

                Word.

Many cars have lug-centric hubs/ wheels, meaning that the wheels center themselves as the lugs are tightened down. Our cars are hub-centric and, speaking from experience, it is almost impossible to center a lub-centric wheel on an e30 without using centering rings.
