Ha, I was going to say the same thing until i checked out a few tires on tirerack in that size and saw that they recommend up to a 7.5" wide wheel for a 195/45. So they aren't "super" stretched. I've seen this done before. I had a pic of the car but I cant seem to find it. It was a brown E30 from AU, with wide steelies on it. Looks GREAT.'94 325is
