    Help with my wheels please

Ok so I have a set of Miro STP1's on my car, the other day I heard a ping from the front of the car, wasn't sure what it was but the other day I found the problem. On of the decorative fake screws that press in on the side of the wheels fell off. I contacted "Webb" at Miro wheels. He told me that they don't carry that part. I asked if he could get it from the manufacturer? He said, "We are the manufacturer." I don't get how they cant get a part off a wheel they build, and that is still in production, very frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions for me here.

    Here's the wheels

Yeah Im pissed, I was cool with the guy at first, but he made it clear he did not give shit about my problem and made NO effort to help me. This thing probably only cost 50 cents. All it would take is to contact someone on the manufacturing side and explain the problem. I feel this is an easy problem to solve. After me getting more and more upset, He reluctantly said he would contact the manufacturer but it would take months to get the part..........Why?????? This should be simple.....That suck that this happened, we sell quality wheels and this is not typical of our products, I will get a replacement screw out to you this week........Why is that so hard. Anyways I'm waiting to hear back from "Webb."

I'm going to send a copy of this post to the company to see if that gets them to change their attitude.

Have you tried the company you bought them from? They may have a better relationship with them!

if your wheels have a warranty, that is a flaw that should be covered. you might have to send them the whole wheel though to get a new one.

I have the staggered setup, 16/7.5 and 16x9. I have a 15mm spacer in the front but none in the rear, You might be ok.

I got a call from Webb again. He told me he was able to locate the part and would ship it out as soon as possible. He seemed to have a much more positive attitude today, Maybe I originally caught him while he was having a bad day, but he was pretty cool today. I will let you guys know when I get the part. Thanks for listening to me vent.

From what I've seen, the Miro's are a DZ Exclusiv knock-off. Good news is that tunershop still sells DZ Exclusiv wheels, and may have the part you need. You'll want to confirm my theory but shoot them an e-mail.

                  info@tunershop.com

I have bought 6 sets of wheels from these guys and had to replace several centercaps (3 times on my CR7s) with no issue.

edit: didn't see where he sent you the part. Sorry to bump this incorrectly, but hope that the info is good for future reference.

Just got the part on Friday, they even sent me an extra one just in case. Today I got a call from Webb again just to make sure I got the part. So it actually all worked out well in the end. Thanks for all the input and for hearing me vent.
