They sandblasted them, which he said did lightly texture them (as you can see in the pics), but powdercoat is very good at masking small imperfections like that, it's almost unnoticeable. They had a lot of corrosion from the clearcoat being missing in several areas.Comment

None of the affected areas were pitted at all were they? Just surface stuff? I didnt see any spots that caused me any concern, but I was curious about that once stripped.sigpicComment

Yes, a small one. The wheels are on, and this is by no means a photoshoot, but I had to take a few pics. They are mounted, but I can't drive the car yet. I got the adapters, but the overlap plugs I was sent were for a 5x114.3 set, not a 5x120. So I sent them back to the manufacturer, and they are supposed to be sending me a new set on the double.
But here's a few shots to show fitment. It also seems to be sitting higher than usual, but it's probably because it's been up on jackstands for over a month, it will probably settle down some when I drive it.
And my new valve stem caps:

I went looking at every store in town that sells Legos looking for them, and NO ONE had them. The only thing anyone had was Clonetroopers. So I got on Amazon when I got home, and it turns out, those original-style Stormtrooper figures are actually fairly rare now. I ended up having to buy them from a rare-Lego site, got the 4 of them complete for $13 shipped.Comment
