    For those with 16" wheels

I am going to need to order new tires for 16x7.5 et25 wheels, curious what you guys are running.

TireRack shows 205/50 being the right size, but I want to run a wider tire. So what are you guys running:

    a. 205/50 (most tire choices, dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec, dunlop direzza dz101, bfg g-force sport, bfg g-force t/a kdw 2, yoko s drive)
    b. 215/45 (kumho xs and dunlop dz101 comes in this size).
    c. 225/45 (g-force t/a kdw2 and yoko es100)
    d. something else?

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure you could squeeze the 225's on if you want. I've seen guys run that on a 7'' wide rim.

I have 225/45s on my 16" style 5's. Fit perfectly. The others looked tiny.

I ran 225/45 on my 16" hartges. Ran toyo t1r for tires.

16" BBS Rk's with 225/45-17 Yokohama Es-100's (wish they still made these tires)
I forget the ET on these, ill have to look. Its a set of rims from an E36 though

fits fine, does rub on big bumps only on the right rear, maybe i need to roll a bit more on that side. also with the 5 lug swap and E36 steering rack I have the fronts rub a tad on full lock, but that will be solved with some rack stops. I guess the e36 racks have more travel than the e30 ones. but its a quicker steering feel, i like it

                next step, PAINT

16x7.5 with et25 will handle a 225/45/16 tire with no rubbing at all.

                            Here is proof.
