They shouldn't. Are you sure the wheels are et30?

No, they shouldn't be. yES, SURE eT30. Maybe it's the tire has lost some pressure and is fatter than it should be. I was too tired to think its underinflated.

I dunno. But the tire is definately in contact with the strut.

          :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Was it just the air pressure?

Not sure yet. Give me a few hours. I just thought of that though this morning. I got bigger fish to fry.

If it's not, you have bent tubes. ES100's are narrow, plus you're running a pretty womanly tire size and rim width. ;)

                Robert,

If that's the case, let me know. I have some good straight ones you could have for free if you want to come pick them up.

FYI factory 15x7s are ET24, it's possible that ET30 isn't enough to run a 205/55. I know that my stock ET41 wheels were extremely close to the struts, not sure how close the euro 15x7 would be on an RWD E30. No worries about strut clearance on my car though ;)

Yet ET27 is enough to run 225s?

From what I've seen, yes. It is very, very close though.

                        I've got 15x7s et25 w/ 225/50 es100s. So technically, you should be able to run 205/55s with et35.

et35 15" wheels rub the strut on a m3 so they would probably rub on the e30. the 16 can be a little more and 17 more yet due to angle of strut.

i have 15x7 et30 on my car at the moment and they are extremely close to the strut housings - maybe 1 mm of clearance?
