Thinking of building my own steel wheels, What size???

Thinking of building my own steel wheels, and I would like to know what the
    best wheel size would be...
I'm looking at using one of two different centers. The size I go with will dictate what center I'll use either the BMW steely center or the center from the scion/Toyota steely..
What I want to build is a perfect fit wheel.. I would like to have a meaty rear
that comes to the edge of my fender.. I'm ok with rolling the fender if needed.
I'm also ok with running "a little" tire stretch... I would also like the do the same in the front..
I want to go with either a 15" or 16" rim, But I am open to 17" in a 4x100

What I seek is a good wide Width, but I want to stay with the +25 offset, in a 15 or 16.. On stock suppention, but lowered 2" from stock..... ?
Examples of what I would like, or use..

If you insist on keeping an offset of 25, I would make them 16x7.5 and run a 205/45.

Make sure the wheel center will clear the brake caliper and clip before you have them made. This is a problem with DR steelies.

If you make them 16x7.5, run a real tire and do a 225/45.

                            I'd do 8" in a 15 or 16. Run 225's in either size.

I'm down with a 225 as well. It's all about personal preference.
