i am baffled at the fascination with knock-off wheels. some pretty nice cars in here, and the wheels just look cheap, it really kills the look. -
MASSIVE: Thanks bro, im pretty much done modding it.
BeemerBuyer: Thank you, Im trying to figure out a good size spacer in the rear because I dont feel like rubbing,
SupaDave: I beg to differ, your car looks amazing with the rims. You can use a bit lower in the front though. As for suspension, Im running Eurostops D2 coil overs. My car used to be much lower but I raised it due to bullshit SoCal roads.
Thanks for the nice comments guys!Leave a comment:

Not everyone buys wide wheels for the extra tire size benefits.Leave a comment:

The white cabrio looks quite nice. Don't touch anything. It looks perfect.Leave a comment:

Yes they are technically required. If you go to any serious tire shop, they will have technical data regarding what width of tires can be mounted on what width of rims. Both for handling and safety considerations.
Look at the pictures of the rear wheels in the first post. Don't you think that stretching the sidewalls this way won't affect handling and safety? As for esthetics, I won't comment as it is clearly a non-objective matter.
My post has a whole lot of sarcasm. But thanks for the info.
Oh and I can get you some proper pictures of 215/40's on a 9Leave a comment:

Wheels are 16x8 ET10. Rubs slightly over bumps or with people in the car, but that is mainly due to the fact that my rear suspension isn't very stiff. Guards have been rolled and pulled in the rear though to fit a 225 semi under there. If I went back to a 225 standard tyre It probably wouldn't rub at all.Leave a comment:
