i am baffled at the fascination with knock-off wheels. some pretty nice cars in here, and the wheels just look cheap, it really kills the look.

MASSIVE: Thanks bro, im pretty much done modding it.

BeemerBuyer: Thank you, Im trying to figure out a good size spacer in the rear because I dont feel like rubbing,

SupaDave: I beg to differ, your car looks amazing with the rims. You can use a bit lower in the front though. As for suspension, Im running Eurostops D2 coil overs. My car used to be much lower but I raised it due to bullshit SoCal roads.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Running stretched tires negates the benefit of running wide wheels, so yeah you're affecting handling by putting less rubber on the road, but not safety. Anyone running stretched tires isn't likely tracking the car anyway, so what difference does it make for daily (or even spirited) driving?

Not everyone buys wide wheels for the extra tire size benefits.

    Dude, YES! So clean.
It could use a small spacer out back like you said, but regardless it looks beautiful.

My post has a whole lot of sarcasm. But thanks for the info.

Oh and I can get you some proper pictures of 215/40's on a 9

    what size/offset wheels? any rubbing?
Wheels are 16x8 ET10. Rubs slightly over bumps or with people in the car, but that is mainly due to the fact that my rear suspension isn't very stiff. Guards have been rolled and pulled in the rear though to fit a 225 semi under there. If I went back to a 225 standard tyre It probably wouldn't rub at all.
