rs? i thought they were kodiaks.

k1's are a great track wheel, but they're just blah. at least they're easy to clean.

I had to go et32 because of the 225/50/16 Avon Tech R's barely fit under the car, et22 would not work. The wheels you see are my street wheels, track wheels are untouched silver Kosei's. I loved the RS's but it was a fitment issue with the BBK.

Those pictures of stress cracks posted above, is that in the powdercoat only, or are we talking about the wheel itself? Link?

Awesome wheels, the car keeps getting better.

My only question is, when are we going to see it doing some of what it was apparentley built for?

at first brent thought one of the dealer techs hit something, but when cracks formed on the other wheels, it was pretty appearant what the cause was.

Kodiaks make the lips for the RS's etc. They have some wheels listed on their website, but I've never seen a car with a Kodiak wheel on I don't think.

Anyways, what happen to the RSs? If you still have it, sell it to me!!!

Thanks, the car is almost done. Keep in mind where I'm at... The only track even close is over 2 hours away and it's tough to find time with my job. For sure, it will be on the track July 5th for a private HPDE and from there on out it will depend how things relate to work.

Thanks for the link on the wheels. Interesting that this happens at the exact same time I have my wheels done... idiot! We shall see how they hold up. Again, these are my street wheels, here are my track wheels:
