Glad to hear you say that, Sears has them right now for $56 each, and I was planning to get them for my 14" weaves, in 195/60.

They are surprisingly badass. I was a little skeptical at their price point (you always get what you pay for, in my opinion) but too many good guys recomended them. The only downside is the sidewalls aren't as stiff as a more sporting summer tire, but it's perfectly within reason (especially at my 40 aspect ratio, but anyways).

Here's a useful chart, BTW. Consumers Reports:

Wow, thanks Jay! That's a great chart. I can't wait to get them now. I was looking for good performance tires on a budget, and it appears I've found them. :D

i picked up a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's for my euro weaves, had them on there for two days and have broken them in already, once i messed with tire pressures, 34 f 36 r, and set the toe where i wanted it. these tires are amazing! i went from a set of dunlop sp sport 8000's and even those have nothing on the f1's. however, fo me, it only cost 58 each [goodyear employee] and right now they are on tirerack for what amounts to 69 each in 195 50 15, only size in 15's.

Yep, might as well whore out both charts in this thread:

From all the good things I have read about the Ziex 512, and the nice price of $69/e for 205/50-16, I think they are going to be my next tire.

                      Thanks,

I am ordering from them before the 1st - probably this tire.

I've been looking at the BFG Traction T/A H&V in a 205/60/14 as well as the Falken Ziex 512's. I called Volco and they said that they recommended BFG's rather than the Falkens, since apparently the Falkens will last 50-60k km and the BFG's last 80-90k km? However, the price difference between them is $30 ($99.99 and $129.99 respectively). Has anyone had any experience with the BFG's or if anyone has an opinion on this? I read so many good reviews on the Falken's so I was a little surprized when he said the BFG's were a better buy. He might just be trying to get me to spend $30 on a tire :(
