    ESM 009 / 195/50s / H&Rs

Im looking to purchase this wheel and tire combo to put on my 91 318is with H&R springs. The wheels are 15x8 ET 10. Im afraid its going to rub like crazy. I searched a little without any real results. Any feedback? Thanks in advance...its a good deal and I don't want to pass it up if I can pull it off

Roll your fenders and you'll be fine. I think they'll look pretty silly though. The extreme stretch/poke look looks decent only on super slammed cars imo.

Im buying myself wheels for xmas but I don't want to spend more that the car is worth. I know there was a photo from ESM floating around here with these...although they were the all black ones and it was difficult to see. I also thought of purchasing corvette wheels with adapters but I'd run into the same poke/rubbing issue. Can anyone recommend a flat monoblock style wheel with better fitment.......that doesn't break the bank? I like the Ronal Aero at tunershop but I have a hard time justifying the price. The Turbos are cheaper but my pal has those on his GTI. Thanks

Well its not going to poke in the rear but you might have to roll the rears ever so slightly. You'll have about 10mm of poke in the front though.

Not sure, they were already installed on the car when I got it, along with the bilstein dampers. How can you ID them? part #s? It rides pretty well for a lowered car....compared to the lowered VWs I've owned.

Im going to hold off on the 009s. I don't want to modify the fenders for the sake of a set of wheels.

This might sound crazy but I think the gold turbo style wheels on 80ish Trans Ams would look great. They come in both 15x7 and 15x8. I would need a 5 to 4 lug adapters of course. I looked on motorsport tech and the thinnest adapter was like 30mm. That won't work. Does anyone know who might offer an adapter that is thinner? 15mm would be ideal.

These on a white car..what do you think?

well the 008 are wheels that i want. and there 16x9 et 15. i dont think with the 009s your going to have to do massive render adjustment with 195 tires...

as far as i know the thinnest adapter they sell is 20mm.

i say dont give up on the 009s tho.

found this thread. It looks like I'll be OK with the 009s. Should look better in silver too. Paid this morning, should have them next week. I'll post some pics when I get them on the car

Got these mounted to my car. Fenders are not rolled and there is no rubbing at all. Happy with the purchase

Doesn't look terrible for not being slammed, at least from the angle. We need more pics!

"Not terrible" is what I was going for. I just need a little more low in the front and I'll upgrade to "not too shabby"

This is the only other pic I have

kinda off topic, but do they make flat caps for these wheels? Or do real type A caps fit? They would look 100000 times better with flat caps.
