Does anyone know what size spacer would be needed to run a set of Flik Blasts? They are 15x6.5, ET40. 10 or 15mm?

edgeracing.com sells them bundled with Azenis for $629...that's too good for me to pass up

6.5? Seems worthless as that's the stock weaveeweave width......and those are much cheaper. Then you can run either 205 ES100s or 195 Azenis. Or whatever.

I was going to go for Kosei's, but these weigh less (11.9 lbs each), and they come mounted and balanced with Azenis. So assuming the Azenis (the old ones) are about $70 each and I'd pay around $60 for mounting and balancing then these wheels only end up costing $280 for the set. Weaves would cost more and be much heavier.

Sure, BMW wheels may be a little soft sometimes......but not fucking crap wheels. Flik wheels = NOT with my car / life.

Yeah, I had checked out Vulcan and edgeracing after seeing their ads in the SCCA magasine, but I saw that Vulcan doesn't carry the RT-215s in 205/50/15 anymore :(

I guess I'll just have to spend the extra $$$ and go for the 615s.

Kosei's are cheap and easy to come by... unlike 15" weaves.

but if you bend one... can you afford the potential long wait to replace it?

I believe in Chris's point. Koseis are a good/great option and choice. Bend one, throw $129 at Tirerack and get another, no big deal. Ronals can be practical because they can be replaced as well.

And ask Randy Sparre, he's a BIG fan of LSs.

yeah, you can still get 14" and 16" RT 215s, but not 15"... my 195/60-14 215s will be here next week. 8)

and actually if you look at the prices, the 615 isn't that much more, it's only in the smaller sizes (like 14") where the price whent up a whole lot.

14" went up 70% :shock: so Rob's main reason for loving 14" isn't as solid:

14" azenis:$220 shipped to me, 15"= $310. just FWIW.

But 14's are still cheaper to run, in the end.


Vulcan tire may be out, but I have fresh 205/50-15 RT215's on the way 8)
