    Optons?!

I saved up enough to buy a set of ronal LS's, but apparently their out of stock for the next 6 months. So i'm in the market for a new pair of shoes for my car. I can only spend 200 a wheel, no spacers. Any suggestions? (kosei's are out) What are my options besides kopi's?

Tirerack has these for 170, but i'm not sure how they'd look on my car...

    Here's a pic of my 325.

Personally I wouldn't go that route. Find some nice used BBS RZs or 15" Euro baskets and save a lot of money.

I recommend checking VWVortex's classifieds as most of the 4 lug wheels that are for sale there will fit an e30.

          Those Miglias need spacers, no?

I'd rock the baskets, do the new "forum mod" and spray paint them to keep yourself entertained until the Ronals are in.

The basketweaves that are on the car now slightly out of round so I'd like to get rid of them as soon as possible. I'd like to get the wheels new, as I bought a set of borbet's last spring used offline that were in "great shape" but turned out to be bent. I dont feel like dealing with that hassle again. I'm also hesitant to buy VW wheels because I'd rather not run spacers.

I know i said besides kopi's, how do you think a set of hyperblack kopi's would look? (if they still make them)

Good man, I'm also pretty weary of buying used wheels. I got lucky twice, I think next time I'll get screwed over.

              The Kopis would look awesome.

Like everything, depends on who you get them from.

I trusted my borbets were good when they came from a BMWCCA member and shop owner who said they were straight, for example.

One two of the four basketweaves I bought from Tuff240 ended up being straight though.

If you go to a wheel repair shop, they will see if they are straight for free. (at least the few around here do). Now....the only issue would be transferring the correct info between the shop and the seller to the buyer.

Some people honestly don't know they have a bent wheel, for example even moderate bends can be untraced if the tire shop mounts relativlely large weights in the right spot and they happen to be put on the rear axle.

I did twice buy from very reputable people, and things turned out perfect, you do have a point. But especially over the internet, you don't know who to trust. A guy who had been around forums for years could put a price on the hobby, if he makes hundreds of dollars by screwing someone over and all he has do to is give up posting, the occasional asshole will go through with it.

                    Anyways, gone completely off topic.

                    Get some black Kopis.

I'm not sure, I haven't really looked into it. There aren't any good wheel shops around here anyway, i'd probabally have to drive closer to the city. I think i'm going get a set of hyperblack kopis with es100's and keep the blizzaks on the weaves for the winter. With my early model rear arches and 215/40/17's I shouldn't have any problem with rubbing right?

Won't rub on a late model either.
