    Tires for 15x8 BBS RMs

Just wanted to know if anyone here is running some 15x8 (2" lips) BBS RMs in their E30s, and if you experience any rubbing.

225/50/15s is one option, but I'd be wary about the rubbing.
Pretty much, I'd like to know the widest tire I can fit without fender rolling (on a moderately dropped car).

I believe the wheels are ET15.

    I run 225 /50/15 's on a 15x7.5" wheel with a et22.
the car is dropped quite a bit and doesn't rub.
if that helps you at all..

Even with 205/55/15's you'll be right at the fender.

so with a 205/55 do you think that I can make it without rolling the fenders?

Nope, you'll still need to roll a good bit.

You'll probably rub for the fact they are ET15s so they will be pretty close to the fender.

well i think its around there. The stock RMs are ET33, and then the 15x8s have an additional 1.5" that sticks out on the outside. I'll see how it goes.

what suspension setup, and what size tires?

Sounds like 15x8 et15 with 205s would be okay then.

                      groundcontrol coil overs

the rears on your car will be fine..... the fronts on the otherhand may need a small spacer

You're not rubbing because of the undersized tires, and I know you're aware of that. If he ran 205/50 or 205/45, he would be safe too.

Proper sized tires look better to me, but it's a personal preference I suppose.

Run 225's and roll your fenders.
