This was what he said to me
The TH1660 is available, but it's not part of their regular production series. In other words, it might take a couple months to have it made. I will check with Compomotive to get a firm quote on a potential ETA.
I'll also ask for pricing, but figure about $249/wheel plus shipping from UK directly to you. They're just not easily attainable period, due to their irregular production runs. The 17x8 is regular production, but 15 and 16" sizes are not.1990 S50 goodness.Comment

I had some white Compomotive MO's on my 97 GTI back in 98 or so and those wheels took a beating!
I fell asleep at the wheel sometimes in 99 and smashed into the back of an 18 wheeler, spun the car off the highway and into some trees (car was demolished to say the least) but those wheels remained true! Ended up selling them to some kid with a Del Sol.
I'd def buy them again but I don't dig the style on an E30 as much as I do on a dub. (plus, I've got some RS's that I'm currently refinishing :))1990 BMW 325is 5spd - Brilliantrot

Pictures are small, but a guy semi-local is selling an E30 already with Compomotives, just to give another look at what they look like:

Yep. I got them from Compomotive direct. They had 30 sets left and stated they were not going to make the 1680's anymore. I got in on the last 30 sets though a group buy.. So, they custom cut and powered coated them to my specs and shipped them to my door step. They are a GREAT company to deal with.
