But having a clutch and the other mods you did during that improved your car, and experience of driving it a lot. I spent at least that on my project and it was definately worth it.

But swapping wheels, the same size or narrower, just for looks for $600?

And having 1/3 of the value of the car tied up in wheels.....or half of it in wheels and tires.....what's the point? **bling, bling**

Why get $400 wheels when $129 ones get the job done?

Why must you be so negative towards anybody who wants something nice for their E30

If he's got the money and he wants the rims... Let it be so

If you are thinking about going the SSR route i can say that mine have given me no troubles. They are a very well built rim that have taken the several beatings that i have given them. Hope this helps if you are thinking about ordering them. Im also not sure on the weight of the others but at 11lbs the SSR is even better looking.

You bought yours from Tire Rack right? Did they come with spacers? If so, what size?

From where? I haven't seen any TE37s for less than $2000 online, except eBay. They have them for $1,600, and I'd still need about $200 in spacers...

Here's a website that's a little ghetto and only has bronze or white te37s:

                    ezwheels

$1532 shipped...plus then you'll have to add spacers and perhaps centering rings. I am tempted to do it...but then those SSRs are nice and as light and already come with spacers for the $349 each listed on tirerack, that's $1396 plus shipping.

Of the three above, I would go with the SSRs.

Why does every E30 have to be FUH RAZE? I still think TJ's is one of the best looking on the board - and he's basically stock except the rims. I think a change could do him good too - as much as he has rocked the t-stars, he's due for some new shoes.

If you start comparing the cost of the mods to the cost of the car, quit now. I've spent $5k so far and don't have much to show for it. But my car cost $500. That's 10 times what I paid for the car in mods. Do I care? Nope. If I did...I wouldn't be driving an E30.

Ouch, I am very far from stock... just not on the exterior :)

Yeah, wish I could buy them all, I would change the rims every day!
