    4x100 -> 5x120 fitment questions?

    Found a pretty good deal on some 16x7.5 et 38 (5x120) rims, comes with almost brand new Kuhmo Ecsta tires, size 225/50/16. I'm planning on giving the 4x100 -> 5x120 adapters a try, but I'm wondering what I should ask them for when it comes to the width they would make the spacers?

    In summary: what will it take to fit these rims on my lowered e30 (2.5 front, 1.5 rear)?

    16x7.5
    et 38
    225/50/16

    If I have to sell the tires, so be it. I've been wanting these rims for a long time, so I really want to make them work :D

      those tires are a bit big for an e30 in my opinion, but if stick with them, my response to your post in the adaptec thread would give you room for the tires.

      if you got some smaller tires, like 225/45s or 205/45s i'd bump the adapters a bit wider since you'll have the clearance to do so.

          dont run stupid offset as someone suggest. with the et38 wheels, get a 18mm adapter, keeping your final offset at 20. i'm going to be running 7.5" wide et41 wheels with 18mm adapters so I can get real rubber under the car.

          i'll have my setup put on the car as soon as the weather gets nicer if you want to see it.
