As good as the old school style ones look, they're incredibly cheap; and you get what you pay for. I was about to get a set, but after the stories of people trying to track them, and having them pretty much shatter... Hope that helps haha

Who cares what people think about what you buy. If you like the rims and are on a budget buy what you like/can afford.

It's just a cheap wanna-be wheel. I have more respect for bottle caps on a clean E30.

I've seen like 2 cars making the sports look good, and that's because of other things they are complimenting and not the wheels themselves I guess.

Oh, I think 002's look great, but having a wheel break in half while you're doing a hill climb isn't on my to-do list with my car. I've heard no complaints about people just streeting them, but id never track them.

There are a lot of purist here. I personally dont think that they make a style that fits the car correctly...but that just me. Prices are very good, ok sizes, and several styles to choose from make these a no brainer for some. Im sure that there are several members on this site running these wheels but wont post because their flame suit is not thick enough...but whatever works for you.

I'm thinking about it... although I'm more leaned towards the bbs basketweaves off the ix's... love the way those look when they are clean!

not that I recall. esm wheels are an exact copy minus the multi-lug that is found on sportmax. Also esm's are hubcentric so no rings are needed.
