    16x19 w/ 215/45?

Looking at getting a set of rims that are 16x9 with +15 offset. They have 215/45 on them. Look a little meaty on the tires. I am running H&R cups and bilstein shocks.... and soon plan on doing drophats in the front. Will this work for me? Will I need any spacers to clear the strut housing? What about rolling the fenders? Help would be appreciated.

      I'm rebuilding my RS's to be 16x9 et12 and I'll be using 215/45 tires.
e30's currently in storage and won't be out for another month though, so I'll be sure to post here again when they're on.

I can tell you you'll definitely need a flat fender roll though on the rear, at least.

from what ive read on other forums 16x9 +15 may be close to the inside strut, you may need to run a small spacer.

any tech type question to do with offsets etc i would ask in the stickied thread at the top of this forum. it is read and replied to by Mystikal and he is pretty knowledge on all this stuff...

            ^Only in the front.
16x9 et12 is the closest you can get to the front struts without rubbing, therefore you'll need a 3mm spacer at least for your 16x9 et15.

The rear is a different story, but you'll want to make it as even as possible. That's usually done with 5-10mm more spacing in the rear.

I run 225/45 on mine with ground controls, minimal rubbing in the rear. The front rubs at full lock. You will probably need to roll your fenders. I didn't need a front spacer, but most do

you need to run 3mm spacers on the front at least and roll the lip in the rear. If your shocks suck you will rub on hard turns and dips in the road at higher speeds.
