    Sport Max Racing wheels

I really dont know enough about the spacer issue and all when finding a set of rims for my ride. I have my eyes set on these rims right here. Its a staggered setup.

17X7 +38 up front, and 17X9 +35 in the rear.

I would assume a 20mm up front and a 15mm in the rear, as far as spacers are concerned? Thats just a wild guess, I dont know the math behind the spacer thing.

I just want to know if this rim setup will work, and what spacers and tire sizes I will need to make it work. :)

First of all, you don't want staggered, especially with a 2" rim difference. Your car will understeer like a FWD car. Just go with the 17x7 and run 15 or 20mm spacers. Either will work, but you will probably have to stick with 205 width tires if you go with 20mm for an overall offset of 18mm.

Perhaps, with a lot of fender rolling and precisely the right offset.

well... despite the increase in oversteer, i think i am pretty set on going with the staggered setup. can you recommend to me what offset and tire combo to go with for the front and back?

i think you mentioned 15 to 20mm spacer in the rear for the 17X9, with a 205/35 tire?

the fronts i have no clue of. 17X7 +38, im thinking maybe a 15mm spacer? and i dont know bout the tire.

It's understeer, not oversteer. And I don't think they make 205/35-17 tires. Why do you want staggered if you are just going to run a stretched, tiny ass tire in the rear anyways?

i meant to say understeer, per your prior posting.

i dont want to run a 205, i want wider, but u said 205 would be needed.

              cuz im a ricer :D

i just wanted to find a way to make this setup work.

To get the 17x9's all around: 25mm spacers or hub adaptors with 205/45/17 or 205/40/17 tires. The wheels will be a full inch outside the fender at that point, just to let you know. Think heavy fender lip rolling and a very stiff suspension.

I see. Doesnt sound to appetizing anymore now that you mention the 1 inch out the fender part. I think I am better off finding a set of Borbet Type A.

Or you could just run the 17x7" all around.

cheap 17 ltw wheels: ATS COMP LITE.

or OZ Supperleggas for not-so-cheap 17"
