Racing Hart wheels imho are a nice wheel and ive seen a few e36s which they do the car well. Also of note check these wheels out

WEDSPORT are damn amazing to me.
They are pretty new on tirerack.com and weight basically nothing.
Those and the Volk GTUs I'd have if I had tons of money.Comment

Yes a rim that heavy is very noticable. I had 16" rims that were ~21lbs and they slowed the car down a lot. Then I went to ~15 lbs 14" bottlecaps and the difference is huge.
