those are some people who make wheels for BMWs
Pfft. BBS hasn't made a damn wheel for our cars since 10 years ago.
really? when I go to the tirerack I see 10 BBS wheels that will fit my car. of course you guys would need hubcentric spacers, but they still exist.

and don't forget the factory 14" and 15" wheels that you can still buy new..
Exactly. BBS doesn't make wheels that fit RWD E30s (the 2% of E30s in the world that are AWD don't count), they make wheels that fit VW's. If a wheel needs a spacer, it's not made for our cars.

They need hubcentric rings, which are included with the rims.

          spacers are the devil.

sole reason i really have panasports now. (i don't care THAT much about 16.5lbs versus 13).

What makes them bad? There are a lot of misconceptions about them. Have you run them on your car?

            Mine are working great.

WEDSPORT are damn amazing to me.
They are pretty new on tirerack.com and weight basically nothing.
Those and the Volk GTUs I'd have if I had tons of money.

B2: A lot of those rims only come in 5 lug, and are quite expensive considering the rims that he listed as being considered :)

That Volk is a beautiful rim...wonder if it comes in 4 lug. How heavy of a rim do you guys use, do you notice a big difference? 20-22 lbs., will there be a noticable difference from the stock basket.

Yes a rim that heavy is very noticable. I had 16" rims that were ~21lbs and they slowed the car down a lot. Then I went to ~15 lbs 14" bottlecaps and the difference is huge. Now I am on 14.5lbs 16" and its about the same as the bottlecaps.
