who makes iX weaves?

did BBS make the iX 15inch weaves? im just trying to make sure i get the right center caps for them and such.

also if BBS did make them what model are they?

BBS didn't make them (if they did, they didn't stamp them), but the bbs caps from the BBS 15" euroweave (BBS RZ) will fit perfectly.

BBS *did* make some of them. But there were actually two manufacturers for stock BMW wheels - KBA and BBS. They are stamped accordingly.

It is not a serial number and not a manufacturer.

KBA is the German Federal Motor Vehicle Registration Agency.

so who's the manufacturer or non-BBS stamped BMW wheels? I've had sets of euro and standard weaves, some were stamped BBS and others not. There are also slight casting variations between them, with differences between where the spokes meet the barrels being the most obvious.

Fundo makes non-BBS e38 weaves

Even the standard 14" e30 basketweave has three different manufacturers. BBS, Lemmers and Ate I think. I'd have to go pulling all my caps off to check. All the caps fit eachother in the 14" variations. I've pulled caps off the 15" IX weave and put them onto the 15" Euroweaves and they fit perfectly. Good to know what the KBA actually is...
