Just ordered 17" style fives (PICS)

So i just got a pretty amazing deal from a fellow e30 owner in albuquerque, NM. 17" style fives with new 215/ 40 /17 4 dunlop tires on each wheel for 700 shipped. They seem to be in good condition, no bends, minor curbage etc.

I apologize for being a complete noob when it comes to wheels with their offsets, center bore etc. and obviously these are a 5 lug wheel. What are my options for mounting these on my car and having them look right?
Taking the offset into consideration (which keep in mind I know nothing about and blame the ADD i think i have for not being able to understand offset) would adapters be applicable in this situation? or would I have to resort to drill n' fill.

And yes you can get some decent adapters on eBay. Search for 4x100 to 5x120

Adapters will have you sitting in the FATLACECANIBEATSTANCEWORKS department, not poking fun at them, but that's how it'll sit. If you're cool with that, go for it!

I think adapters are a better investment in case you ever want to run other 5-lug wheels.

You definitely got a great deal on them! For them to fit nicely without hacking up your fenders or having them rub like crazy you'll want to have them filled and redrilled to 4x100. If you run those wheels with an adapter you'll have some serious fitment issues.

He's running adapters but I didn't ask. I also saw that he was running 205/40 series tires and they were rubbed to hell from the tires hitting the inner fenders. Adapters might not be your best bet if you want to run proper rubber.

Just sayin'.

I have a set of these wheels just sitting at my house. Maybe I'll mount them up one day.

I just got an email back from motorsport tech, a company that makes custom adapters/spacers. They said that for $350 they can give me an entire kit with all the bolts and lug bolts that I will need and they can make it at 18mm thick. Any thoughts on this? is 18mm still too thick?

How wide are your wheels? And could you post the side profile view so I can see how the tires fit? I'm still trying to decide on what sizes to run on my 17x8 and 17x9.

They are mine, I bought them from someone on the forum, ElCaminoLV. He did the work to them before I bought um. He's in Germany I think, so pricing would be different. I paid quite a bit more for them than what you paid lol.

Yeah with a re-drill that professional looking i'd expect to pay a lot for them too.

The tires are Dunlop sp sport fm901 tires
