BBS RM... VW fitment, do they work? 15x9?

    Hello everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with BBS RM's... the ones that came on the MKII GTI's/GLI's (?) ? The reason I ask is that I think it will be easier to come across from RM's for cheaper than RS. From what I gather, the stock specs for the RM's are 15x6.5 ET33 in the front, and ET24 in the back, with a 4x100 bolt pattern. Will this work on an E30? What about if I wanted to stretch them to say 15x9, will the offset and everything still work? Do they even make 9" lips for 15"? I tried to find Kodiak's website, but I didn't have any luck. I did however come across this sick cabrio on 15x8 and 15x8.5. Anyways if you guys know that they'll work, I'll be doing some GTI hunting :buttrock

    Thanks

Both sizes and offsets should work, though they are small and will stick inside the fenders a lot.I'd try to run the rear ones all around.

15x6.5" RMs are ET33 all around.

You can put the 3" lips on them and they'll still mount fine. Think about it, if you just make the wheel wider on the outside edge, the strut clearance stays the same. You can push as far out as you want to play with the fenders.
