          They are light, and with that in mind they tend to be more fragile. So if you live in an area with crappy roads, I'd think about it.

            Well I'm in LA which has pretty crappy roads but these wheels look so good. They're magnesium right? so if they fail they do so pretty spectacularly? Can they be repaired or if they crack do they shatter? Thanks for the link!

              if they shatter, new rims.
              if they bend, metal loses ~50% of its strength after a bend & rebend, so... new rim.
              track rims are super light and meant for super smooth tracks.

              road rims are heavier and tougher.
              AWD > RWD
