    Q: 16x7 ET40 requires 15mm spacer, correct?

    Hey guys,

Been searching through old threads for offset/spacer info and I just wanted to confirm:

If I get a set of 4x100 16x7 wheels with 195/50 tires, ET40 , I'll still need a set of 15mm hubcentric spacers correct? If I mount them without spacers, they will probably look really weird and might rub against the front strut, right?

Damn spacers will cost $120 though, don't want to get the wrong ones.
Also, aren't these tires a little skinny for 7" wheels?

    Thanks.

15mm spacers would be about ideal for that wheel size, although you could go with 20mm also. The best tire size would be 205/50, but you could also squeeze 225/45 on there.

That's a bogus tire size. I would personally run 20mm spacers... oh wait I am. But 15mm would work too. Spacers are closer to $200 for hubcentric H&R spacers, then you also need to buy longer bolts or a stud kit.
