Refinish Wheels OEM Style or Paint 'Em White? (Pix Included)

What's going on r3v? I just got my 89' 325is about a week or two ago. Been fixing it up, ordered a ton of parts to get it all in order... I plan on making a thread for it sometime later when I get going with a few more things. The car is completely stock as of now. I've been contemplating painting the wheels on the car now white.

I messed around with a pic I took when I first got the car and whitened up the wheels. What do you think?

This is what they look like currently:

I'm not looking for new wheels at the moment, but these desperately need to either be refinished or painted. Open to any other suggestions, colors... whatever. LMK

    Thanks for looking,
    George

Fuck black wheels. They were played out 6 years ago, now it's just totally lame. Look at the refinish rede30 did on a set, and then decide. I say go factory.

Didn't know they could look so nice. Gonna PM him to see how much he paid to have them redone like that. Didn't know they were so rare.. Thanks for that.

I'm trying to stay away from the "murdered out" look. I'll take a clean oem car any day. I just feel white fits well on this car/wheel.

^^ Thank you. Drop is coming after all the small stuff is out of the way. Been sourcing parts since I bought it. I just finished placing orders on everything I need today. So maybe next week I'll move on to the suspension.
