press in wheel stud conversion?

i swear ive seen somewhere a diy on a stud conversion using OE style press in studs as opposed to the screw in stud conversion. anyone done this or know what im talking about?

Perhaps you had it backwards.

2002's and E9's (basically any BMW car pre-E21) used press in wheel studs.
