Are these Ac Schnitzers Fake or Real??

So I am in a dispute with the DTMBimmer07, he sold me these AC Schnitzer Type II 17x8 et 38. He claims that they are real. I had a wheel guy look them over and he told me his opinion. Let me know what your opinion is, just take a look at the pictures:

Has the right marks except the "GREMANY" is really peculiar. I don't know if Ronal's QC would let that pass on an ACS wheel but who knows... I mean, why trash a wheel because of a misspelling? Reps typically don't have any kind of branding like "Ronal" and "AC Schnitzer" like we see here and very few markings. There are markings everywhere on this wheel including each spoke. I vote for real. If these are fake, they are damn good ones. I don't blame you for being suspicious...ACS' are some of the most copied wheels.

Let's see if Mr Wiggles has one of these wheels in his stockpile. Let's see if they match up.

I doubt your "wheel guy" is a AC Schnitzer expert. As Barry said, the markings look way too legit for them to be fake. I'd definitely vote real. Either way, you got a fair deal on them and they're great looking wheels!

I am very very far from an expert but I wouldn't doubt their authenticity.

          Real.

The fakes don't have the ACS or ronal logos casted into them or the ACS part number. Yours have all three. I wouldn't doubt their authenticity in the slightest.

As for the Gremany, It probably got overlooked. That's pretty easy to miss as your brain will automatically fix it and you won't think anything of it.

Real. Throw them on the car and have a beer, they'll look good.

I work with BMW motorcycles, it's amazing sometimes the things that get overlooked. Logos up-side down, even have seen VINS messed up.

I don't drink... On a side note I talked to the quality control person over at AC Schnitzer and they are saying that wheels are more than likely fake. I sent him over a bunch of photos, he said he was going to look it over and get back to me on monday...

AC Schnitzer might be a little embarrased... I am hoping that they aren't fake because I actually did pay a decent amount of money for these wheels...

Real I'll look at mine and see if mine are misprinted as well. They do say Ronal.

Ran the part #3611-36-75 17x8 wheel on AC Shnitzer catalog. It was made for a e36.

Here's some proof for you. My wheels have all of the same markings as yours.

Wonder if this was the Ronal plant just across the French/German border.
