    Widest Tire

    Im getting 2 bbs rx's in 16 x 8 to go on the back. What is the widest tire i can put on the back and not rub the fenders.

    With the right offset, etc you can fit a 245 although it's a little wide for a 8 inch rim but it will work

      Talk to Ryan Stewart. I believe he's running 245/45s out back on his Alpina 16x8s. I remember him saying that he had to do some "modifications" to the rear fender well to fit them, like rolling, hammering and cutting.:)

        Word son, I didnt do anything as extreme as blunt though, he shaved the lips completely to fit 255 IIRC on the 8.5 LTW wheels.

        245s on back and 225s on the front:
        Im now E30less.

          Keep in mind that a 245/45-16 tire is almost an inch larger than stock size in overall diameter, so your speedometer will read about 3% too slow.

            Or about perfect, as the e30 speedo is very optimistic. My speedo is almost spot-on with 205/60-15s.
