Re-conditioning my wheels over winter-need opinion first

I plan on refurbishing my wheels over winter.
I was going to do th whole shadowline/black out grille etc. but i decided not to.
Now im planning on refurbishing my wheels and am wondering if i should re-do the weaves in silver, or go the polished lip, black center route. I like both, but am leaning towards the polished lip/black center as i think the polished lip would go good with the chrome trim and grille, and the black centers would contrast the black car. Ive always like the hartge wheels with the black centers/silver lip, but i do not have the funds for them at the moment.

You guys have any opinions? im gunna do the same thing that joe318is did, using his DIY article.

Anyways, here's the pics of my car/wheels.

I don't think its worth it on stock rims, just repaint them silver.

definitely, i loved the polished lip look, and with a contrasting black center, it's gonna look hot, just those wheels are gonna be hard to paint every nook and cranny

I was thinking that last night when i was looking at the wheels.
The amount of work it is going to take, I think im just gunna re-do them in silver, just to get the wheel corrosion off of them. It will look fine till i get new wheels. Not much sense in putting the time and effort into 14" wheels.

                  yeah,

do what joe did, which is what I did about a year ago and nando did before that and I think a dozen or so others did it too.

Seriously, if you want to do it, do it. Paint the fuckers krylon purple if you want to.

I think the graphite centered weaves are a good look. But dont do it because I or anyone else thinks so.

He is right. I dont think it is worth it on stock wheels. Ill have new ones soon enough, and it will be easier to just redo them silver. I wont need to be as picky either. Also, where the tires are so big compared to the rims, it wont have the same effect as a 15/16" rim would. I dont think it would look right. Brant pshoped them for me and it doesnt look like i had imagined.
                    Thanks,
                    Mitch
