    17x8.5 et13...will they fit

I'm in the process of installing a E30 m3 suspension in my 318is. Front and rear subframes, struts, trailing arms, brakes, steering rack, sways...

Anyway, got a set of 17x8.5 et13 BBS RS on my M3 right now, wondering if there is any chance they'd fit the 318. I'm figuring no, they won't work at all, but I'll probably bolt them up in the spring and give it a shot anyway.

Any expriences? I'd have 235/40/17 on them. Bilstein sports, H&R sports on the 318, so not really dropped too low

I'm almost positive that your fenders will need to be pulled IF you are going to run the RIGHT size tires on them. (with no gas ass stretching).

It you stretch some 205's on there...they'll probably fit....

just noticed you said 235's - yea, you'll need to at the very least roll them - but you'll probably be ok with that suspension. hard to say though - et13 is pretty far out.

Pretty sure you'd need flares to run that setup, I don't think any rolling besides serious fender mods would fit it.

Stiffer suspension and you will be fine.

With the setup you are looking to run the outside 1/2in of your tire is going to be a bumpstop.

kind of figured that's what it would look like since they barely fit under my m3 fenders. Well at the very least I'll bolt them up and take some pictures.

There aren't any clearance problem with 15x7 et 27 wheels with 225/50/15 are there? Those should fit nicely, right?

Yeah, that'll fit fine. Definitely do the RS' though. Get your fenders rolled and you should be all set.

I was rubbing the rears with et13 15x7's with 225's on them... and I have rolled fenders

              Hope that helps somehow
