Any oppinions on BFGoodrich g-Force Sports? They are real cheap and look to be a decent tire. How do they compair to ES100's. Thats what i've got now, they are sticky but get noisy and don't last long.

they're a pretty decent tire for the price. I'm generally a fan of the whole g-force line (except the KDWS which lacks enough dry traction IMHO).
Has anyone tried Fuzion HRI/ZRI tires? I got some second hand from my local tire shop (some guy returned them after driving around the block with them because he didn't like the way they looked), it was a score at $30 each and I needed some temporary tires. I am totally blown away with how good these are for the price (normally about $50). I will be putting these tires on all of my daily drivers from now on. My track car however.... that will get RA-1sMichael Spiegle

Originally posted by redcarbonYes, KDWs are better, but he asked about the g-force sport tires. I have them on my '02 jetta, they have decent grip, but soft sidewalls as compared to es100s, though I have never run es100s. I have nothing bad to say about the g-force sports, they've worked well on my daily. They work well, but are a pretty crappy summer tire with no snow traction. So, if you want more of an all out summer tire, get something better like the KDWs or the hankooks rs-2, I just got a set for my e30.Comment

I got G-force sports and have put around 600 miles on em before I put the car up for winter. They are great for the price, I will be buying another set.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

I've got G-Force Sports in 225/50-15 on my 325is. Previous tires were 225/50-15 ES100s. To be honest, I liked the way the ES100s handled. They were much stiffer than the BFGs, which lends a 'crisper' feel. They did wear quickly though, and got extremely loud as they got past the wear bars.
While they are softer, the BFGs do have lots of grip, especially once they're warmed up a bit. Straight line traction is very good in the dry- better than the ES100s. The ES100s still have the edge in the rain, as long as they have decent tread.
I feel the ES100s have a somewhat undeserved bad rep. I'd buy them again.'91 318is

I've been looking at these because of price but my Grandpa (ex-tire shop owner) won't let me get anything but michelin. we'll see what happens.

weston, i assume you are wanting to get 205-50-16s on your BBS wheels again. TJ was running same size on his Throwing stars in ES100s, and then was posting on about getting himself g-sports, on his new wheels which are 16x7. and i have a sweet memory
