That's what I ordered today, except with the BFGs.

      Shoulda got the 225/45 R 16, $109 a pop.

Fuck this, I'm getting 16 x 8.5's with 245/45's. That would be hella pimp.

      Keep it slideways!!

I just got a set of 225 45 16 hankook rs2s mounted on my 7.5" borbets. WOW. This tire is incredible. Not the best wet traction, but it's phenomenal dry traction more than makes up for it. I only paid 376 shipped to my door via tires.com too.

Has a very aggressive, yet untacky, tread design as well. Pics and a longer review to follow.

As far as I can tell right now, these have more grip than the Michelin Pilot Sports I tested on a similar car. They blow my old es100s out of the water.

that's because ES100s are garbage.. RS2s are nice tires, I'm not sure if I want to wait for more Azenis RT615 sizes to come out or just go with the RS2s now. The Azenis probably edge the RS2 out overall, but both should be excellent.

Es100s aren't garbage - at the time of their introduction they were at the top of their price range too.

            Some pics of the rs2s:

Find me one person who's competitive in autocross or HPDEs on ES100s and I'll agree they aren't garbage.

I don't want to argue with you, however, different tires have different purposes. The es100 is a good street performance tire. Albeit a little cheaper, you wont find anyone competitive on fuzion zris of gf sports, which are not bad tires themselves. You can say Bridgestone blizzaks are garbage too, but when it's time to go to the mountains, it doesn't matter how many gs you pull on the skidpad.

they aren't even a decent summer tire. as fast as they wear out and as bad as the wet traction is you'd be better off with a set of Azenis or RS2s (which are about the same price too).
