    Where to find Borbet A's?

Hey, I'm looking for the Borbet A's preferablly the ones that have the graphite center and normal alum. lip. www.tunershop.com is one of the few sites I've seen that sells borbets (tirerack doesnt have them) and I know the A's are a 15 year old wheel so will does anyone know if they're still being made by Borbet or will I have to go used? I'm looking for them in 15x7 and dont know what offset to run that (hopefully) wont recquire spacers, etc. They come in I 18, 25, 30, 33, 35, and 40 offsets and I'm guessing I need them in 25 but dont know. I was at their site a second ago but now I cant find it.

So, if anyone knows of a site selling them or knows of a member on a forum selling a set let me know :) Also, help on the offset would be highly appreciated!

    -John

They are indeed discontinued. I've never seen them with anything other than silver centers either. Most of the ones you see are 16x7.5" or 16x9".

If you could find ET25 15x7's they would fit but might need hubcentric rings ($15).

I'm pretty sure they were, but I think they came out in '91, and I've never seen them except in archives of discontinued models. Tunershop.com still lists type A's in 16" sizes. I don't know how many sets they have left, but I doubt it would be very many. They stock ATS Cups which I like, too...

Yeah I hadn't seen them either but I found Borbets site (in english) and they have them in a 3-piece design, the normal silver, and then ones with a black center. Now I just need to find the wheels somewhere, regardless of them being black or silver.

And you need to hook me up on how you did those rolling photos of your car and the red E30! I'm in photo 3 this semester and am doing a portfolio on just cars so if you could hook me up with 'the secret' I'd shut my mouth, guarenteed :) I'm hopefully getting a Rebel XT for my b-day (splitting the cost with my parents) and until then our photo class has 6 or 7 of the normal digital rebels I can use if I'm shooting in color. And we've got like 17 mac's with Photoshop, etc that I can practice editing in PS with the advice you gave in your how-to threads.

Damn, I saw their old site and got my hopes up :S

www.borbetwheels.co.uk had 'em listed in 15" if you check their price list.

I just searched ebay.de and there's a few sets on there. I don't even want to think about the shipping costs...
