Converting closed lug Alpinas to Open Lug

    Hello,

I have a set of authentic 16x7 et28 closed lug Alpina wheels on the way. I REALLY like the open lug look, especially on a late model. I was thinking of plastidipping the centers, but as far as the small caps, what could I use? Anyone done this before? I have seen it on E28 alpinas, but I know those have different center bores.

I tried searching, but no luck.

    Thanks guys and gals.

No problem really. Sell the alpina's and get 17x8 Style 32's. Your plan sounds good. Find out the bore and order some emblems. I'm sure you can find something that will fit. It doesn't have to be pretty since the emblem is covering it. It just has to work.

        Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking ill find some E21/E30 caps, even if they are metal,I can etch primer them, the shoot them with a very light wrinkle paint to get that textured plastic look, slap the sticker, and boom.

Just wondering if anyone had already done this on their 16x7
