    only problem is the R888's wont take more than about a dozen heat cycles before grip levels drop off a huge amount, so you might as well just buy something like an R1R. In short, they don't really like being overheated like most track tyres.

    Falken Azenis are awful these days. They also scary in the rain, the r888s are not - they are actually quite good.

    Falken Azennis come in a 195/60/14 and would be a fair bit more street friendly tire than the R888's.

    Anybody running these for non competition use new wheels are not a priority right now but I hate the crap tires available in 14's

    The car is not a daily driver and I will avoid driving it in the rain
