15" wheels have ALL the good tire selection as that is the Go to size for miatas etc for all kinds of autox and track events.

what so bad about these? some reviews i read is that they suck in snow.
im in California so that wont be an issue.

anything else i should know about these before i drop 355 for the whol package?
There are alright for an all season tire. They have decent grip and last a long time and are quiet. The side wall and tread are pretty flexible, so you have to get used to how much slip angle they operate with, especially when they are new. You also have to slow down your hand speed to 'wind them up' gently. If you're in a situation where grip actually matters, like a track day or auto-x, then they are pretty disappointing. But the upside is that you can slide the car around without having to be going so fast.

I got some that weren't super round, and had to spend money getting them 'trued', at which point I might have just as well bought some something higher quality.

Coming from running summer only tires, I think the snow performance is pretty good. I used to run Falken azenis Rt-215s and the car felt like a snow cat on the ziex-912s compared to those.
