HOLY SHIT that's a small tire. I'm running 195/45s on my x8 RS's and that's uncomfortably stretched (cracked a barrel). I'm widening to x9.5 this week and am looking at a 215-225/40, no smaller.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

Also like I said previously I have run 165-45s on an 8.5, but soon changed the tires because I did not choose them and then went with 195-45s, which I think is a perfect stretch for an 8.5.
Also good luck finding any 40 series tire if you are building 15s, because they are nonexistent. And also just curious did you have factory barrels or were they replaced, because I know someone who had bought Rotiform barrels for his RSs and both of them cracked 3 times, all within 4 weeks.

Granted, I'm talking about 16s (maybe the worst tire selection), but I'm currently at a x8 -7 and am running a 195/45 by necessity. I'm moving to a x9.5 +11
I cracked a factory RS barrel with the current 195/45, prompting the widening.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

And your offset of 16mm more than mine, giving you 2/3 of an inch more sunken in. Your wheels will probably sit damn near flush while mine will have that much more poke, hence why I will need to go with such a slim tire.

And also, I saw on StanceWorks someone under the name of "Dutchy" ran 15x9.5 inch RMs in the rear of his e30 with 205-50s. Granted his car has the late arches while mine has the early arches which are a good amount higher, but I am within 1/2 an inch of being level with the fender when looked at straight on.
With his 205-50s he had to radius his fenders, while I am only looking at a very good roll and slight pull. Has anyone heard of him, or know if hes on R3v? I sent him a PM on S/W but it said his last login was over 2 months ago so maybe he frequents this site more.

And when you say you rolled them decently what do you mean by that? I will be rolling them completely flat and then giving them a slight pull, probably around a 1/4 inch.
Thanks
My roll is very close to flat, probably 2-3mm of gap between the lip and the inner of the fender90 318i M62B44 OBD1

You know what fits a 205 tire without rubbing and doesnt look completly gay?
A 7.5 inch rim! Crazy I know, makes too much sense.

I dont need all of the people hating on stretch, because many people here run it in order to fit wide wheels. If you are all about power and fitting huge tires because you need the traction go for it, I am not blowing up your threads about how beefy to make your tires.
I simply asked a question for people who actually had answers, not all you smart asses who want to put your 2 cents in about what size wheel the tire is made for, which I was already aware of.
