    You can get away with it as a performance enhancement IF you are running a racing slick with their harder side walls. With a street tire 225 will bulg out too much and reduce performance in a track and street environment.

      I was always told 205/55 for 15x7. Thats what I have ran on my car for years

        can depend on the tire. this guy raxe used 195/55 on 15x7 euroweaves.

          Started shopping for new tires for my 15" Ronal LSs, running Falken ZIEX 912s, 205/55. I need all weather ties here in Hawaii for a daily driver. I was happy with the Falkens but they are no longer available. Since there is a very limited selection of 205/55 thinking about going with a 195/55. It's not a perfect size match but it's pretty close and has more tire options. Thoughts on this size and Goodyear Eagle Sports?

            as soon as proper street tyres became NLA in 205/55/15 i got a set of 16x7.....
            89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

              Found 2 new Falken 912 205/55 x 15 on ebay. This should last about 2 years before I need to decide if I want to get 16" wheels.
