What in the world am I doing with these wheels?

So came across a deal from a scrapyard and ended up with these:

These are off a MkII VW Cabrio, I believe and are 16"s. I have no idea what they are so if anyone could lend an identification, that'd be great. The seemed to fit just fine, albeit a bit tight but no clearance issues. However, with the source car being a VW, am I going to run into any fitment issues that aren't as easily seen as mounting the wheel and checking some clearances?

Also, how do you guys think these look. I know that the profile is extremely wrong (will fix when new tires are bought. Current rubber on those is trash.) and the ride height is wrong for now, but given a reasonable drop I think these look pretty decent.

Oh and just ignore the imitation Porsche/Wolfsburg logo on the center caps. That'd be replaced promptly.

    Wrong offset.
    Wrong profile tires.
    Wrong ride height.

You've got some work to do.

Take a good side shot and photoshop lower it to see if it has potential in your eyes. My eyes are bleeding.

Looks like some Team Locos. Check out the Tire Rack ad in a 10 year old Sports Compact Car magazine.

Why would you buy wheels like that?

What did your E30 ever do to you?
