I know they arent the fanciest wheels, and its a fake multi piece look, but at Rota prices, you can't complain. They look almost exactly like SSR Professors. A set of four wheels that fit almost perfectly for less than a grand, that look great (IMO), kinda hard to beat that. These can come in a lip as deep as 2 3/4". And there are several colors to choose from.

Plenty of sizes and offsets available... the only problem is that the set I want they dont carry. And in order to do a custom set, the distributor told me that I would need 10 sets pre ordered. 5 sets could possibly work too, but 10 would be ideal.

Here is what I was thinking of getting done:

front = 4 X 100, 16 X 7.5, et25
rear = 4 X 100, 16 X 8.5, et25

And if I am able to get them custom done with the group buy type deal, then we can get a custom centerbore as well, so it will be e30 specific (57.1 I believe).

What do you guys think?

I like them, but Im told I have bad taste in rims, what ever, I think they good looking for the price.

Fake multi-piece rims = teh gheyness. Other than that, and the fact that I would rather have a matte finish instead of gloss, they look decent. I like 5 spokes w/ lip. But if the price is around a grand for set, why not spend the extra couple hundred and get a set of SSR Comps or something?

Add the cost of spacers and studs to those awesome rota prices and you could go shopping for some nice wheels with the correct offset. Just my opinion.

I meant it would be less than a grand. A set of these are usually in the $700-$800 range, and I think thats for 17"ers. They should be cheaper, but I am waiting for the distributor to get back to me with that info. They are just now introducing these in a 16" size, so they dont really exist yet, but the molds are being created.

As for color, they have several color options, I just dont know when they will start using them all on this wheel. Not all are gloss either. there is a new matte finish bronze that they have. Its gonna be a custom order, so im sure we can choose our colors.

And would spacers be necessary with a 25 offset? The website says they go down to a 20 offset as well, but the distributor wasnt sure of it. I'm banking on the websites info though, so the way I see it, we can do et20, unless I hear otherwise from her. Ill have more info once I get her call.

Well, if we can gather enough interest, we can get a custom set, in whatever size we want (I want a staggered setup), and it will have a matching offset and centerbore for our cars. I will give the distributor Im working with a call again this afternoon.

7.5" rim with an offset of 25 is perfect. Not sure about an 8.5" rim with the same offset, you'd proabably want ET20 for those.

16x7.5 et25 would be nice. I might consider them if they didn't have the fake multi-piece look, it just bugs me...but the price is right. RS's or Futura's ftw.

Well, that is another trade off. I believe (and dont qoute me on this, I pulled the number from another website, but who knows how accurate it is) they weigh about 22 lbs each.

I see these as more of a nice looking wheel, if you have an e30 to cruise in. I wouldnt plan on doing any sort of racing with these.

I only wanted the 8.5"er so that I could get the deeper lip and get my euro gayness on with a stretched tire in the back.

God....... Im gay! I have fake 3 peice wheels.

See my sig for pics. Keep in mind that these are 7 inch wide wheels and are 38 mm offset. I have 20mm spacers waiting to install. cant wait to see how damn good they will look flushed with the fenders. Mine are also dirty as hell.

My wheels weigh around 18 pounds maybe less. There not that heavy. Quite a bit lighter than my ltw reps.

edit: I need to find solid brushed aluminum logoless center caps for them.
