    Wheel stripping help

I started stripping down these wheels with Aircraft remover. I got the rattle can paint off and unfortunately the clear coat from the factory. I'm trying to strip the black painted sections (its factory paint) so that I can get it repainted/powder coated. I just can't figure out how to get it off. Stripper works, but its very very slow and I don't have a tool besides my finger nails (not holding up) that abrasive enough to scrape off the black paint and not gouge or scratch the machined finish of the wheel.

I am open to just having it sand blasted but I don't want to mess up the polish finish of the machined part.

    Any advice would be great.

Maybe the aircraft paint stripper with the tools on the link would get it off? The tools are for removing door panels and so they are made out of plastic.

The fact you can touch the stripper with your bare hands makes me question how good it is. Any paint stripper I've used burns like a son of a bitch if you get it on your skin, and burns through rubber gloves like nothing.

a pack of cheap plastic scrapers or old plexiglas/whatever is also key.
