I liked the way the tread looked, but who cares about that anyway :P

I had seen that price thinking that it was expensive, but then realised the "free shipping in the 48" great deal! thanks, im curious though about the Falken Azenis St115. any feelings on those?

also, anyone getting those certificates for free replacement? worth the extra $$$?

The ST115 isn't very aggressive at all, it's aimed more at the luxury market. Not even close to the tires we're talking about here.

No problem. The only Falken that would keep pace with these tires is the RT-615.

Yeah? Don't get all greasy and shit after a few laps? How do the shoulders wear?

They do get a bit greasy after a few laps, but what street tires don't.... I've run street tires that have gotten greasier after a few laps than these (i.e. Kuhmo MXs). The sidewalls seem stiffer than my last set of tires (T1S Toyos)

I had RS2s on when I went to Streets of Willow in Dec. Afterwards, I took them off the RZs and am saving them for my 3 piece wheels (got them reassembled, need to mount the RS2s) ... so I'm running them for AutoXs and track days. If I only had 1 set of wheels, I'd run them for daily use. Since I have another set of wheels, why waste sticky rubber commuting to school? ;)
