Hey dude - Thanks for the post! I am looking for 16" tires at this point, as I have recently acquired something different - I think my size of choice will be 215/45/16, as I'd like a 40-series tire so I can enjoy 40-series responsiveness!
But I'd like to hear what tires you guys all like, so I can put those recommendations to use for my application.
Thanks again,Leave a comment:

AJ,
buy either Falken Azenis (see e9nine's thread or search for mine about being on the track on them) or Hankook RS-2s.
I run 205-50-15s like it was my job. So cheap, a little lower drive ratio, and stiff sidewall. But of course there is also 225-50-15 in the RT-615 Azenis I believe...
both are great cheap auto-x tires, and have heard good things, and experienced as well, on the track with them. so all around good sporting tiresLeave a comment:

Really? That good, huh? Hrmm - very interesting - definitely a tire to look at then!Originally posted by Beej '86 325es- Sticky as hell. Although I don't have that many miles on them yet, and don't drive the car in the rain, I think they almost have the grip of the Azenis Sports.
