    Cheap Replicas

Has anyone ever seen/used/heard of Sainbo rims? They're a company based out of China, and they sell basket weave replicas for very cheap.

I was thinking of getting some, but I don't know how safe they are. I was wondering if you guys could take a second look at these for me and maybe try to find anything on them. I google searched the brand and it led me to a website that was unclickable.

Here's the link to the site.

Also, I wouldn't use them for anything other than daily driving of course because they're cheap.

I think those may be wholesale prices or near cost, you may want to check on freight/shipping cost plus possible fees for customs if they are coming from China. If they are the manufacturer of the wheels that ESM, or other brands are putting their name on it may be cheaper in the long run to just go to one of them since they are buying in volume and probably get the wheels at a lower cost per unit.

Well, after doing my bit of detective work it really seems like they are the manufacturers of the Lenso BSX or R-Design BSX wheels which are sold by a big auto-store chain and have all the necessary TÜV paperwork.

I'm not really sure I'd be interested in wheels from China anyways, but then again, who knows where most alloys are made?

But seriously, I shot them an email through their form to get some info on the costs associated with a small order. I figure I'll probably get laughed at/ignored but hey if they get back to me with something reasonable I might as well!
